The knight 2

A hero is noble not only because he wins but because he will never give up. He will never use others' hardship to gain or protect himself. He is looking for confrontation, for its feeling and will never run away. (...) During an initiatory journey, no one can forecast the end result, but he must be prepared to face danger.

"Please remember and love above everything the one who will love you above all. You do not have to show him how proud you are of him, because you are the only one for him. All the sins of the world can not be committed with some sheer madness; but for whom finds justification and honor, his madness will serve him right. And if you believe that your passion is insane, well do not worry about it, because you will love God and what is best in his creation. So you will be first amongst the ladies, because your companion is the most valiant knight of the world. "
Lettres gothiques. Tome 2. p.547

"When Lancelot arrived, they all stood up to welcome him; they asked him to come down and took off his helmet (...) His face was red as fire, such beauty never seen before. A beautiful man. They contemplate him, admiring his eyes which look like two emeralds, his forehead (...)And find him so perfect which makes them forget that such a beautiful angel does exist in Heaven."
Lancelot/2. Roman du 13e Siècle. Alexandre Micha. Editions 10/18. p. 155

"He leaves her ( Lancelot leaving the Queen), deeply moved, goes down to the courtyard, put on his helmet and shield, gets on his horse, he is sumptuously dressed up, and grabs his spear from his esquerry. He was majestically beautiful, deserving everyone’s approval."
"
Lettres gothiques. Tome 2. p.663

Every physical attributes are present. Now we will deal with the inner man.

Lancelot is a courageous warrior, a master in the Arts of Chivalry. It is said that he was best of all. Same applies to Michael. His whole body is a weapon. An expert of martial arts, any objects could become lethal.

The knight armed...

His enemies are afraid of him, and the ones that don't know him and will have to face him, well, they will not have another chance to think about it. Lancelot acted the same way. The fearsome enemy and the one who is respected. As Lancelot, Michael will meet defeat very rarely. His superiority over any situation irradiates everything around him to assure him victory under any circumstances.

Something else that they share. Their maternal language: French. Lancelot speaks English naturally. The Arthurian Realm is in England but when the Queen meets Lancelot for the first time, she will ask a parent, where the young man come from and the answer will be:" I know that he is from Gaul, because he speaks their language very well." Both being strangers in the realm of their liege man.

Lancelot is also very secretive, very intelligent and due to his insctint as well as his natural ability to study and to produce a quick analysis of any situation, he has a definite edge over his opponents, either playing chest or being on a battle field or tournaments.

Apparently, he looks serene but he is very seldom happy. His happiest moments are the ones he will share with Guenevere. In fact, rare moments, because for any reasons could she be his. It is a forbidden love, so much more precious. The "Fine Amor". The courtly love. The extreme passion. A tormented and complicated desire. The courtly love is often described as follows: silence, patience, caressing looks, light touches and sleeping.

Sharing sleep...one of the "fine amor" precept.

Michael and Nikita destiny is weaved with the same golden thread, soaked in hemlock. It is a poisonous love. Their peril is as great as the 13th Century lovers, challenging them with the fragile existence of the time. Since its debut, Section One had a shaky equilibrium because of love and passion of couples who have managed its operations. Beginning with George and Adrian, then with Paul and Madeline, the next candidates are now standing at the bottom of the podium. Young and beautiful, brilliant and most gifted, they also in love with each other. They must hold on, because like Nikita, I believe that their lives now belong to Section One. Just like Lancelot and Guenevere who could not escape the walls of Camelot.

Lancelot will father a son from a woman who he has met only twice in his entire life. A son conceived without his knowledge but according to the prophecy. While on drugs, believing that he was with his queen, he will sleep with a beautiful young girl, Elaine, the daughter of the King Fisherman. When awaking up, he finds out the outrageous subterfuge, but still considers that the woman was most charming. So his son will grow up away from him. Michael will also follow the same hard route, having a son with an attractive woman and her name was also Elena (Elaine). That life had a long span over the years. Michael will be dramatically separated from his child. Heroes live rarely with their offsprings, that's the legend.

Michael and his son.

Lancelot and Michael are always surrounded with men that will envy them and with women who are hypnotized by their charms. In a sense, Michael is smarter than Lancelot, his morality being more subtle ( of course he does not live like a valiant knight of the 13th Century, having to go by very strict Christian rules), so Michael is able to use his charms in a different way. He is using them as baits to execute his plans. Some woman have dearly paid for it, just remember Lisa, Andrea and even Nikita at the beginning. Lancelot is then different. He will be surprised even shameful seeing the influence he has over women and at times he does not known how to deal with it. Michael is wiser and cunning. Other times, other manners.

Michael is a genuine knight. From the way he walks to his courage. If he kills someone, its' in order to survive, to protect woman he loves as well as his companions. He thinks fast and acts fast, his love is true. His goal is legitimate. He fights evil to restore what is good. His dubbing his real. He is valiant and courageous. Men who had a quest. If not to conquer, it is to seduce. I agree with Vizcano in the episode called First Mission, who was saying: " He doesn't need a companion, he needs a quest."

So Michael is a loyal heir of the Middle-Age knighthood, expressed in this quotation of the 12th Century: Love takes the virtues of the Knight right up to the Summit.

Michael has not only the spirit but also the titles or the deeds of his living legend. Heroes never die. They come back sometimes as themselves. Michael and Lancelot are alike and it is so true that sometimes I believe that one is the reincarnation of the other.

The knight always keeps an eye open for trouble.
